General Membership Meetings

INMM holds a general membership meeting at least once per year, normally during the Annual Meeting. Notice of the general membership meeting is provided to all members in good standing in advance and all are encouraged to attend.

Executive Committee Meetings

Executive Committee meetings are held in person each INMM fiscal year in July, November and March. Teleconference meetings are held monthly or as needed.

In-Person Meetings

Each in-person meeting includes discussion of pending issues and votes for matters in front of the Executive Committee. In addition, each in-person meeting has the following special focus:

  • November Meeting – JNMM business and annual budget
  • March Meeting – Annual Meeting planning and strategic planning review
  • July Meeting – Review of annual reports

Modified Roberts Rules of Order are used to conduct business during meetings and a quorum shall consist of five or more Executive Committee members in attendance. Any member may attend, but the following positions are normally expected to participate:

  • Executive Committee
  • Oversight Chairs
  • Technical Division Chairs
  • Technical Committee Chairs
  • Standing Committee Chairs
  • Chapter Chairs
  • Headquarters Staff

Only Executive Committee members have voting privileges. The INMM President presides at Executive Committee meetings.

Teleconference Meetings

In order to conduct the business of the organization, the president may call a teleconference meeting of the Executive Committee. Each of these meetings has an agenda set by the President. If a quorum is present, business may be conducted, but is not recorded into the minutes until the next formal meeting.

The Executive Director will ensure that Members impacted by an EC teleconference decision are made aware of those actions in a timely manner following the teleconference.
