17th Annual Vincent J. DeVito, Sr. Golf Tournament

In memory of long-time INMM Secretary, Vincent J. DeVito, Sr., the INMM annual golf tournament has been officially named the Vincent J. DeVito, Sr. Golf Tournament by unanimous approval of the Executive Committee.

Attendees are invited to participate in the 17th Annual Golf Tournament on Sunday, July 12, at 7:30 a.m. at the Starr Pass Country Club. INMM participants will be playing the Rattler/Roadrunner Course. Starr Pass Country Club is a true Sonoran Desert luxury golf experience. With extraordinary views of Tucson (300 feet above the city) and the Catalina Mountains, this year’s golf outing will be the most scenic one yet.

The tournament will be a shot gun format (four golfers) and the entry fee is $65 per person and includes golf cart fees and range balls. Players may submit their own foursome; otherwise the Tournament Committee will make up the teams. Contact Sherri Garrett at +1-509-372-6971 for more information. If you plan to rent golf clubs, payment can be arranged directly through the Starr Pass Country Club on the morning of the tournament. Rental clubs are $69 per set plus tax.

13th Annual 3K Charitable Fun Run/Walk
Tuesday, July 14, 2008 • 6:00 a.m. – 7:30 a.m.

INMM will again sponsor a three-kilometer fun run/walk on Tuesday, July 14, at 6 a.m. 

In honor of our dear friend and colleague, former INMM Secretary Vince DeVito, all proceeds from the 2009 Fun Run/Walk will be donated to the Vincent John DeVito, Sr. Memorial Fund at the StoneyBrooke Foundation to assist families and improve the lives of people affected by Prader-Willi Syndrome. If you wish to contribute to the StoneyBrooke Foundation in honor of Vince but do not wish to participate in the Fun Run/Walk, contribution forms will be available at the Registration Desk. 

This event will be scheduled to allow participants to return in time for the Tuesday morning technical sessions. Recognition will be given to first place winners for men and women in age groups "Under 30," "31 - 60," and "Over 60." All participants will receive a commemorative T-shirt. The entry fee is $20.
