Third Annual Workshop on Reducing the Risk from Nuclear and Radioactive Materials
The Third Annual Workshop on Reducing the Risk from Nuclear and Radioactive Materials was held in Albuquerque, N.M., USA, March 10 and 11. More than 75 participants from seven countries participated in the workshop hosted by the INMM Southwest Chapter. Representatives from industry, academia, the national laboratories, and government discussed topics on Role of Borders in Nonproliferation, Tracking of Radioactive Materials While in Transportation, Illicit Trafficking, and the Criteria for NPT Noncompliance.

The group also heard some provocative perspectives on "Defining Nuclear Security in the 21st Century" from keynote speaker and author James Doyle. While the workshop was conducted under rules of non- attribution, many of the panels agreed to share their presentations with attendees. These are included below.

We wish to thank our Silver Sponsors Canberra Albuquerque, International Services and Advisors, Inc., Science Applications International Corporation, and Sandia National Laboratories and our Bronze Sponsor Los Alamos National Laboratory.
